Life/energy has a certain order and impetus;   life tends towards growth, greater intelligence, greater complexity, greater self-awareness/consciousness.

Energy is matter, matter is the crystallization of energy.  E=mc2.  Energy functioning in patterns is matter.

Energy is life.  Everything is made of the same stuff, the same material, energy, consciousness.  Not just physical things – but feelings, thoughts, emotions, pain are all energy patterns.  Behind energy is the ground of being.

Energy is movement, activity, vibration.  It is creativity – unhindered spontaneous movement, dance, play.

Energy is also inertia, rest.  Attention, awareness, observing, witnessing is pure, primordial energy – potential energy.  Energy is passion, without a hidden want.  Stillness is the summation of energy.

All energy in the universe and in the human being is the same energy.  The human being has a limited amount of life force, Élan Vital; and this energy can be dissipated and lost, or it can be conserved and allowed to flow healthily and freely – in which case it becomes an inexhaustible well.  Identification transfers energy, dis-identification generates and saves energy.

This energy can be transformed, transmuted.  The transformation of suffering, limitation, the false creates great energy.  This is true alchemy.  Lead can be turned into gold.  The transmutation of darkness into light, extracting milk from thorns.  Using that which would kill you to give you life.

Energy is value, we pay someone for their energy;  for the energy they give us and for the energy they enable us to create for others. You are paying someone for the energy expended in bringing something about,  paying them for their time. Time is the way we measure the movement, the energy of things.   Energy is the currency of the universe.

All energy on Earth is generated by the Sun.  All energy on the Sun is generated by nuclear fusion, nuclear fusion is powered by gravity…..  Gravity rides everything.  Every thing with mass, with energy exerts a gravitational pull.  Gravity is a formless force.  Gravity is attraction, union, love.

I died as a mineral and became a plant,
I died as plant and rose to animal,
I died as animal and I was Man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?
Yet once more I shall die as Man, to soar
With angels bless’d; but even from angelhood
I must pass on: all except God doth perish.
When I have sacrificed my angel-soul,
I shall become what no mind e’er conceived.
